An Arrogant Buffalo

Once upon a time in a jungle, lived a strong buffalo. The Buffalo had a big body and a big horn. He always defeated everyone who wanted to against him, and he always became a winner in every fight with another animals. Because of his power, many animals were afraid of him. It made the Buffalo became arrogant and he liked to humiliate the weak animals. Almost of the animals didn’t like him and he didn’t has a friend because of his arrogance.

One day in a cloudy evening at a small bridge which was used by the animals to across the river, the Buffalo wanted to go through the bridge. The bridge was very narrow it only could be passed one by one. In the same time, there was a turtle who wanted to across the bridge. Then, the Buffalo walked behind the Turtle, but the Turtle walked slowly in front of the Buffalo. It made the Buffalo wasn’t patient to wait the Turtle. “Can you walk faster stupid Turtle?” said the Buffalo. The Turtle answered, “I try to walk faster but I can’t”. “You are a weak animal, how can I meet you here. It can be my bad day, if you block my way. Don’t you know that I have a fight today? I don’t want to fail because of a stupid turtle like you”, the Buffalo was angry with the Turtle, but the Turtle didn’t care with the Buffalo and he kept walking. “Don’t you hear me ? I will kill you if you don’t walk faster. Don’t make me angry stupid turtle”, the Buffalo shouted. “I am the strongest animal in the jungle, everything cannot defeat me”, the Buffalo said.

Suddenly, the big flood came and crashed the small bridge because it was rainy season. The Buffalo was shocked and afraid, but the Turtle was quiet. The Buffalo said, “What should I do? This bridge will be broken because of the flood.” The Turtle asked, “You can swim, don’t you? You are a strong animal, everything cannot defeat you. It is just water.” The Buffalo was panic because he knew he couldn’t swim.

When the flood crashed the bridge and it made the bridge broken, the Buffalo couldn’t do anything. Finally he flew away in the river because he couldn’t swim, but the Turtle was save because he could swim to the riverbank. The Buffalo sank in the river and he died. After the Turtle reached the riverbank, he said, “Your power can not defeat everything. You are a bad animal, and now you get the punishment because of your arrogance, Buffalo.”

Cat Vs Dog

As we know that the kinds of pet are various. Many people like keeping a pet as their hobbies. Generally, the kinds of pet which are kept by people are cat and dog. People like them because cat and dog have good characteristics. They said that cat and dog are friendly and funny animals, but some people prefer keeping a dog than a cat. The reason is that dog is a loyal animal. The other characteristics of a dog are also the reason why the people like keeping a dog. Cat and dog have similarities, but they are also have differences.

In the same way, cat and dog are tame animals. They are also friendly animals. Many species of cat and dog which are liked by people.  Cat is easy to keep as well as dog besides that cat and dog are smart animals. They can be trained by people to follow the command from their owners. Both of them are easy and pleasure to be invited to play with human. So, it makes many of the people choose cat and dog as their pets.

However cat and dog also have differences. Dog is an energetic animal, they like moving from one place to another place. On the other hand, cat is not an energetic animal. They spend much of their times for sleeping. A cat can sleep 14-18 hours in a day. Another difference is food a dog can eat meat and plants. A dog can be a vegetarian and they can life without eating meat, but a cat is different. They can’t life without eating meat. Some people also said that a dog is a loyal animal with the owner, but a cat is not. It makes a cat very different with a dog. It means that dog is better than cat.

The similarities and differences characteristics between cat and dog make the people choose dog or cat to become their pets. If they know the characteristics between cat and dog, it will be better. Both of them can be a good pet for human, but most of the people prefer keeping a dog than a cat.
